This net art project explores one of my earliest internet memories. This hand-coded website uses HTML, and CSS to recreate my memory of discovering Popropica during indoor recess one day in 4th grade. The style of the site is based on the clothes I would wear daily in 2012–neon clothes covered in glitter and sequins, and the owls were my classroom theme that year. The site feels very crafty and handmade because up until I discovered the joy of online games, I would spend my free time drawing and collaging.
